What is the Bible?
The Bible narrates the account of God's actions in the world and encompasses the purpose of all creation. The writing of the Bible spans over 16 centuries, involving the contributions of 40 authors. It is a majestic collection of 66 books, each reflecting a unified message: that God loves us.

This anthology showcases an impressive diversity of literary styles. It offers numerous stories about the lives of both good and bad people, battles, journeys, the life of Jesus, and early church activities. It includes stories and dialogues, narratives and poetry, as well as history and prophecy.

The accounts within the Bible were not typically recorded as they happened. Instead, they were shared orally for years before being documented. Nevertheless, consistent themes can be identified throughout, exhibiting remarkable unity alongside diversity.

So what is the Bible? In addition to the above:

 <li>A resource book for daily life. It helps us establish standards for our behavior, discern right from wrong, and uphold principles in a tangled society where “anything goes” is often accepted.</li>
